Comcast-Spectacor Creates Recession Buster Offers for Flyers and Sixers Fans
Comcast-Spectacor, the Philadelphia-based sports and entertainment firm which owns the Philadelphia Flyers and 76ers, has created a series of recession buster offers to encourage fans to attend upcoming hockey and basketball games, as well as other events, at the Wachovia Center. Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter/guitar player/producer John Mayer will bring his “Battle Studies” tour to the Wachovia Center with special guest, Michael Franti & Spearhead, on Sunday, February 21. As the Philadelphia Flyers and 76ers prepare a same-day double-header at the Wachovia Center on Friday, November 27, Comcast-Spectacor is hosting a Black Friday door buster sale at the Fan Gear store on Friday, November 27, starting at 7 a.m. “Beat the Clock” discounts will be in effect on most Flyers, 76ers and “Remember the Spectrum” merchandise.
